I've read and enjoyed WATER UNDER WATER. I think it's one of your best! The lovely, detailed, palpably felt natural world flows through rich memory and its shifting tides of mind, reifying its panging desires, plangent sorrows, its stillness of peace and chill of death, its flight of dream, its Jungian visions, with ghosts and ghostly doomed lives from African, European, American cultures, its compelling and stirring personal history, ecstasies, and its relentless sense of change, into one liquid lyricism of being.
